My very first submission. I haven’t drawn a lot of this OC, lately. But eventually, I’ll do my best to keep doing so. This is the third shape I’ve experimented with, ever since I decided to add pounds onto the character and make her plus size. I’m still looking for just the right amount, and the right shape for her, so this is obviously not the end of my trail.
Hope you all like it. :3

laisiflores asked: Is it my idea or is here no art depicting fat guys?

It’s definitely harder to find! We’re powered by submissions and reblogging things the moderators stumble across. We just don’t get many depictions of men coming to us.

There’s a larger conversation to be had about how the objectification of women drives the idea that women are artistically beautiful in a way that men are not.

But really, I encourage all you artists following to maybe try out drawing some more fat guys!

rosalarian:

I finished the inside of Meaty Yogurt book one and found I had one extra page that needed to be filled, so I decided to draw a scene that happens often in the comic but is never really shown. Saffron loves making clothes, and Jackie loves getting new clothes, so this is something the two of them do for fun often. Saffron’s sewing room, like any sewing room, is too cluttered for her to remember where she put Jackie’s measurements, so she has to do this every time they start a project. And of course Jackie soon tires of her new outfits and wants different ones a couple weeks later. But she pays for all the materials and doesn’t bug Saffron when it takes two months for Saffron to finish putting the sleeves on a shirt. Well, only a little. Saffron made the skirt she’s wearing but the sweater came from a thrift store. Jackie got her underwear on sale for a steal.

There’s almost 200 pages of this webcomic that I do if you wanna read more about these girls.

You can’t weigh the beauty of something for its weight, its appearance or other’s social standards. Like what makes you feel good , love who you want and most importantly - yourself. Say NO to body shaming.

Body Positivity for the win.

9 out of 16 are WoC from 9 different nationalities - Spanish, Native American, Middle Eastern, Greek, Hawaiian, South African, Indian, African-American and Chinese.

Even the “white” people don’t all come from the same place - French, Irish, American, Scottish, German, and English.

I’m really sorry if I left out YOUR nationality or YOUR body type, but if I kept going to include every single possible woman in the world I’d never have time for sleep or school work.

THIS IS THE BEST BODY POSITIVE POST I’VE EVER SEEN THANK YOU.

This series is ultra adorable.

It’s probably a good year to explore my parcelled out identities and try to bring them together.

I updated my portfolio, finally.

I put some drawings in my Society6 store. There’s free shipping at the moment too.
