I have always loved Starfire. She was this wonderfully campy, sex-positive space princess that could switch from being a no-holds-barred barbarian warrior to this amazingly sweet optimist who had an unbeatable love for life.
I wanted an excuse to draw a cute, high-waisted superhero outfit inspired by campy 50s and 60s sci-fi costumes. Kory’s origin as a space princess fit that desire perfectly.
